Kindle Paperwhite Giveaway (ends 12/31)

I'm an avid reader and bibliophile - although "avid" probably isn't a strong enough word. My rate has slowed down dramatically since giving birth to my fourth child earlier this year, but I still get through a couple of novels a month (and a LOT of board books). Most of my books are the old-fashioned paper kind, though... and I have a LOT of books.

You should have heard my husband complain when we moved to our new house earlier this year shortly after we got married - "Are you kidding me? ANOTHER box of books? You know they have these things called Kindles, right? All your books in one tiny little gadget?"

While I don't see myself ever giving up my old-fashioned books completely, I've seen the ads for the Kindle Paperwhite and REALLY want one. Maybe if Santa hasn't been watching me too closely this year, I'll find one under the tree! As for you, you can enter to win a Kindle Paperwhite PLUS all of the books listed above PLUS a $50 Amazon gift card to buy even MORE books - no need to be good all year and hope that Santa appreciates your efforts, just enter using the Giveaway Tools widget below!

Horns of the Devil by Marc Rainer

The second book in the Jeff Trask crime/legal thriller series, a series hailed for its realism by those in the law enforcement career field, Horns of the Devil is the story of the havoc wreaked upon the nation's capital city by a drug gang turf war. As one career prosecutor wrote, "As a long-time prosecutor, I continue to be astounded by Rainer's perfect pitch for police/prosecutor dialogue. Outstanding Read! Rainer is way ahead of his contemporaries in this genre."

Price: $2.99 (Kindle) $9.45 (Paperback) via Amazon

For: Thriller Fans

Palmetto Review Take: Nonstop legal and procedural crime novel that’s rich with detail and suspense.

Blogger Take: I've liked legal thrillers ever since I first read John Grisham's "The Firm" as a teenager. This sounds like a great read for anyone who's a fan of the genre!
